Garden’s Pulse app privacy details
Updated October 21, 2026. This section covers the Garden’s Pulse mobile app and garden web app at app.gardenspulse.com, operated by Regalstone LLC. The store policy below continues to cover shopping and other store activities.
Information used by the app
We use your purchase email and order number to verify access through Shopify. The app receives your name, customer identifier, purchase entitlements and membership status. A private garden workspace is associated with that customer identifier when you sign in. We do not collect card details inside the gardening app.
Information you save can include your garden profile and display name, ZIP code or growing zone, frost dates, named beds, seed-vault records, plantings, tasks, journal notes, questions, AI answers and photos. Cloudflare hosts our app services and stores these records and saved photos so they can sync across your signed-in devices. Information is also kept locally on those devices for app functionality. Saving a journal photo is separate from sending it for AI analysis.
AI sharing and your choice
Before a new AI request, the app checks which AI services are configured. It asks for permission before your first request and again if the disclosed provider list changes. The current service is Cloudflare Workers AI. If another service, such as Anthropic, is enabled, the app will identify it and request permission before sharing a new request with it. A fallback may be used only if it was included in the permission you granted.
With that permission, the app sends your question, any photo you attach, growing zone, frost dates, selected plant variety and planting stage to the disclosed AI services to generate guidance. Other journal entries, your name, email and order number are not included in the AI prompt. Information you type into a question or include in a photo is still part of what you choose to send.
You can decline and continue using your other available app features, including saving notes and photos. In Account, use “Withdraw AI sharing permission” to stop future AI sharing on that device or browser. Withdrawal does not recall a request already sent or delete entries you chose to save. AI guidance can be wrong.
Cloudflare states that standard Workers AI requests are processed without retaining their content after processing, subject to its stated safety, security and legal exceptions, and that it does not train models on that content. If Anthropic is enabled and you permit its use, its standard commercial API policy provides for deletion of inputs and outputs within 30 days, with exceptions described in its policy. We do not promise that withdrawing permission immediately deletes copies held by a processor. See Cloudflare’s AI data practices and Anthropic’s API retention policy.
Membership, security and other service providers
Website membership billing remains separate from the app. Shopify maintains store customer and order information, and Loop manages the website subscription plan and customer subscription portal. Payment processing occurs through the website checkout and its payment services. The app reads purchase and membership information to provide access; downloading or signing in does not by itself enroll you in recurring billing.
Our service processes network addresses and security counters to limit sign-in abuse and excessive requests. Current sign-in rate-limit counters expire after their short protection windows (up to approximately one hour plus one minute for the enabled order sign-in flow), daily assistant counters after 26 hours, and cached membership snapshots after six hours. Service providers may also process operational information, such as request times, response status and service usage, to run, secure and support their services under their own privacy terms. The app does not include advertising or cross-app advertising tracking.
Retention and deletion
Garden records and saved photos remain associated with your app account until you delete them or delete the app account; cancelling a membership alone does not erase them. Deleting an individual synced journal entry removes its saved photo from active app storage when the deletion reaches the service. “Erase plantings, tasks and journal” is a partial deletion control: it leaves the app account, profile and vault records.
To delete the app account, open Account → Delete app account, review the warning and confirm. This removes the app’s active garden profile, plantings, tasks, vault records, journal entries and saved photos, removes the app’s cached account and first-sign-in records, and revokes app sessions. A minimal customer identifier and deletion date remain as a security record to prevent old sessions or devices from restoring deleted data. The deleted garden cannot be restored through normal sign-in. Other devices may retain a local copy until they connect and process deletion; removing the app or clearing the browser’s site data removes the local copy on that device.
Cloudflare D1 point-in-time backups may contain older database copies for up to 30 days under its backup service. Short-lived security records expire under the periods above. Provider safety, security or legal retention exceptions may apply separately. Store purchase, payment, subscription and support records are separate from the garden account and are retained as needed to administer purchases and billing, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes, as described in the store policy.
Deleting the app account or uninstalling the app does not cancel website subscriptions or refund payments. To stop renewal charges, use the website subscription portal or contact support under the cancellation policy. You can request deletion of other eligible store information and exercise applicable privacy rights by emailing support@gardenspulse.com. We may verify your identity and retain information that applicable law requires.
